Mr. Harry Tambuatco

PRESIDENT & CEO

SMI’s President and CEO Harry L. Tambuatco is a veteran broadcaster and businessman. He hosted and produced “Talk to Harry”, a talk TV show which aired on NBN 4 from 2003-2005, and on Global News Network (GNN) from 2008-2019. He produced several sports and variety shows on RPN, NBN & SBN including “Insight Inside”, “Happy Our” and “The Superbrands Show”.

He owned and operated Blazin 105.9 FM and Broadcast Media Events Group Corp., which first brought The Black Eyed Peas to Manila. He also managed the programming for RJTV, Rajah Broadcasting Network and GNN.

Harry owned and operated over 30 restaurants including Cello Restaurant, RJ Trim Cuisine and Guitar Bar, Magoo’s Pizza in Honolulu and 5 branches the Philippines, Bobby Magee’s, Miyokawa, Luneta Food Festival, Culture Club in Eastwood and Makati, Zany Restaurant in Metro Department Store, Orchard Road, Singapore, Diamond Beach Casino in Darwin, Australia, The Magallanes Pub in Makati, Harris Grill in Alabang Town Center, and Rock Radio Cafe. 

Harry is a professional jazz drummer, having played at the Calesa Bar of Hyatt from 1979 to 1980 with the Bong Peñera band.  

Prior to living and working in Singapore and Australia, Harry went to Ateneo de Manila Grade School, San Beda High School, Gabriel Richard High School Michigan and De La Salle Greenhills. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, History, Commerce and Accounting from De La Salle University Taft in 1976.

Fresh out of college, Harry worked at the Money Desk of the Philippine Investments Systems Organization in 1976 before handling accounts for McCann Erickson Philippines from 1977-1979. Talk to Harry at harrytambuatco@gmail.com

Atty. Sara Jane A. Suguitan

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY | LEGAL

Atty. Sara Jane A. Suguitan graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Legal Management in 2003, and from the Ateneo de Manila School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 2007. She was editor for both the Ateneo Law Journal and the Palladium while in law school. After being accepted into the Philippine bar,
Atty. Suguitan went on to specialize in intellectual property and litigation.

Prior to setting up her own practice, Atty. Suguitan worked in the Supreme Court of the Philippines before being appointed to the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. She is a Copyright X alumnae (2015) of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, Harvard Law School. 

Atty. Suguitan actively promoted transparent elections and intellectual property rights in mainstream media from 2010 to 2016. She was spokesperson of the Legal Network for Truthful Elections or Lente in the first automated presidential elections in 2010.

Ms. Ma. Jonalyn M. Montero-Caparas

BRAND DIRECTOR

Ma. Jonalyn Montero is the Brand Director at SMI, where she oversees the vetting of new participants for the Superbrand program. Formerly, she was the Media and Communications Manager at CEO Magazine, conducting interviews with CEOs from around the globe for features in an international publication. With a degree in Marketing and a strong passion for sales and marketing, Jonalyn brings extensive expertise to her current position. In her personal life, she is a dedicated dog owner and shares her home with three cherished dogs.

Ms. Richelle G. Lim

CREATIVES

Richelle G. Lim has been a key asset to Superbrand as their resident graphics and multimedia artist since 2012. Her diverse skill set encompasses audio-video production, layout design for coffee table books, certificates, backdrops, programs, invitations, newspaper supplement ads, press releases, web design, and a wide range of promotional materials. Richelle’s creativity and expertise play a crucial role in enhancing the Superbrand brand’s visual identity and communication efforts.

 

Ms. Ma. Tallea G. Belardo

ADMINISTRATOR

Ma. Tallea G. Belardo is a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).
She was also the Office Administrator for Carefast Facility Management Services, Inc., a sister company of SMI. She was responsible for handling daily office operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and managing staff activities. Her duties extended to bookkeeping. Her organizational skills and attention to detail enabled her to effectively support the Superbrand company’s financial health while fostering a productive work environment.

 

Engr. Teresa A. Suguitan

SOCIAL MEDIA

Engr. Teresa A. Suguitan has two college degrees, one in BS Mathematics from Far Eastern University, and another in BS Civil Engineering from the Bataan Peninsula State University. Her career spans multiple industries and countries, including the Philippines, Singapore, and the UAE. 

Her professional journey began as a Jr. Programmer at St. Luke’s Medical Center, followed by a similar role at Ateneo de Manila University’s Management Information Systems Office. Her expertise in software engineering led her to an international career, serving as a Database Administrator at International Business Consult in Dubai and a Software Engineer at Singapore’s Housing and Development Board.

In 2023, Teresa took on the role of IT Admin at Superbrand Marketing International, Inc. in the Philippines, where she contributed to key operations in a fast-paced corporate environment. She now manages the company’s social media.
